Hi! I’m Whit, I like food, a lot. Growing up, the mamacita (or, “mom”) put a huge emphasis on food, and the ability a meal has to bring friends and family together for really wonderful, unforgettable shared experiences. Some of my greatest memories (all?) revolve around truly epic meals I had – from horrible experiences (dinners lasting for hours at restaurants with ice cold entrees) to the first time I ate venison and began my epicurean adventures (La Pergola, Rome Italy, 13 years old).

Now, I live in Los Angeles and try to explore as many culinary curiosities as time allows. From baking and cooking catastrophes in my own kitchen, to seriously memorable meals all over town, I’ve decided to start chronicling them for myself, and whoever else may enjoy!
